04 / Method

Six stages, one audit trail

Aerial data is only worth what its control is worth. Every project runs the same controlled sequence, and every deliverable ships with the residuals that back it up.

  1. 01

    Scope & brief

We agree what the data must prove, the tolerance it needs to hold and the format your team works in. Output: a written scope and fixed price.

  2. 02

    Airspace & site planning

Flight restrictions, permissions, overflight of third parties and site access are checked and documented before mobilisation. Risk assessment and method statement issued.

  3. 03

    Ground control

Targets are laid and observed to establish the control network, with independent check points held back from processing so accuracy can be proven, not claimed.

  4. 04

    Flight

Planned grid or corridor missions flown at the altitude and overlap the required GSD demands, with imagery quality reviewed on site before demobilising.

  5. 05

    Processing & QA

Bundle adjustment, classification and surface generation, then residuals measured against the withheld check points and recorded in the survey report.

  6. 06

    Delivery

CAD, point cloud, models and reports issued to your layer standard and coordinate system — OSGB36 / OSTN15 as standard, or the project grid.

Coordinate system

OSGB36 / OSTN15, or project grid on request
